Stir the khadi hair color with 50 degree hot water until you have a spreadable paste. For a cooler result, add a teaspoon of alkaline salt. Spread the warm natural hair color evenly through your hair with a brush: strand by strand through the lengths to the tips. If your hair is already dyed in khadi light brown, treat only your roots.

Leave the natural hair color on for between 30 to 120 minutes depending on how intense you want your shade to be. Then rinse with water until it remains clear.

Do not use shampoo for 24 to 48 hours. Khadi light brown needs this time to fully work and shine brunette. If you apply a khadi hair oil afterwards and leave it on for 20 minutes, you will fix the pigments for a long-lasting color experience.
