The essential oil "Vetiver Bourbon matured", which has been stored for more than 30 years, exudes a beguiling, deep aroma of earth, wood, tobacco and caramel. This unique fragrance has matured in the PRIMAVERA ripening cellar for more than 30 years. Due to the long maturing period, a particularly dark, heavy, honey-like essential oil developed, which is ideally suited as a refined base note for individual perfume creations and as a fixative.

The essential oil originates from the island of Réunion, where it was extracted from dried roots. The roots of the rather inconspicuous vetiver grass reach down to a depth of up to 3 metres and protect the landscape from soil erosion, from which its grounding effect can be deduced.

Due to its high content of sesquiterpene compounds (45 - 50% Vetiven), it has a strongly centering, grounding and relaxing effect. In stormy times there is support, composure and self-confidence, so it can be a valuable help in times of upheaval. The stress relieving effect is appreciated by men and women alike and is often used in sensual massage oils. Its skin-friendly, calming and regenerating properties unfold as a valuable base note in various skin care formulations, such as skin protection balms and face care oils.

The scent of Vetiver Bourbon essential oil blends well with sandalwood, orange, ylang ylang ylang extra, jasmine absolute, clay extract and cardamom.

Application: Cosmetics for aromatherapy care. Mix max. 5 drops with 50 ml almond oil* organic.

Tip 1: Soothing cream for men?
Slowly heat (not heat) 25 g shea butter raw & bio in a water bath until it melts. 1 - 2 drops of Vetiver Bourbon ripened and 5 - 8 drops of Orange bio/demeter added, stir well. Place in the refrigerator to cool. After cooling, use the soft cream as a care balm for brittle, cracked skin. It is kept at room temperature and stored in the dark for about 8 months.

Tip 2: Beard care oil?
50 ml organic almond oil?
1 - 2 drops of vetiver bourbon ripened
1 - 2 drops of cedar organic
5 - 8 drops of organic orange/demeter
Mix all oils together. The beard care oil can be used immediately, but only after approx. 2 weeks of storage it unfolds its harmonious scent composition completely.

Tip 3: Sensual massage oil for beautiful hours for two
50 ml organic macadamia nut oil
1 - 2 drops of vetiver bourbon ripened?
1 - 2 drops Jasmine Absolute?
5 - 8 drops of organic orange/demeter
Mix all oils together. The massage oil can be used immediately, but only after approx. 2 weeks of storage it unfolds its harmonious scent composition completely.
