Care and cleaning with olive oil soap is very common in the Mediterranean region and has a long tradition there. Aleppo soap green is also called home type Aleppo according to your origin. Families made this for their own use, using mainly extra virgin olive oil. The making of this soap has been maintained for generations and is now known only to a few.
The soap is a descendant of the soap from Syria and was created before 1000 BC. Between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, Mesopotamia Mesopotamia in Aleppo, the city of soap, it has been produced in the traditional way since ancient times. Olive oil is poured into a large cauldron, mixed with spring water and thus transformed into soap. After the raw mass has cooled, the soap is cut into pieces by hand on the floor. This special soap is boiled only once a year, always after the olive harvest in October.

It is environmentally friendly, biodegradable, contains no perfume, preservatives or animal fats The soap has a very high yield, acts hypoallergenic (Important for neurodermatitis patients), especially suitable for very dry sensitive skin.
