This traditional soap is made by hand since the 8th century and came to Europe from the Orient by the Crusaders. Since then, the manufacturing process has not changed and made the city of Aleppo (Halep) in Syria world famous for its special quality of olive oil laurel soaps.
Only natural materials such as olive oil, laurel oil, soda ash and water are used in the production process. The olive oil mixed with soda is heated in large cauldrons and slowly stirred. Finally, the laurel oil is added and the soap is washed with water until it is free of lye. After cooling, the soap mass is spread on floors, cut into cubes by hand, sealed and stored between 6 and 9 months until fully matured.
This pure natural soap is an ideal cleanser and conditioner for skin and hair, and can also be used as a shaving soap. The olive oil contained in it protects the skin from dehydration by refatting, supports regeneration and provides it especially with vitamin E and minerals.
Regular use supports the treatment of neurodermatitis and numerous other skin problems. It is ideally suited for sensitive skin, as it does not destroy the acid mantle and has an antiseptic effect due to the laurel oil. The low foam development makes it very productive. Free of animal or chemical additives, preservatives or artificial fragrances, this pH - neutral natural soap is suitable for everyone.
