Vanille Douce has an intense scent of vanilla, reminiscent of crème brûlée and custard, VANILLE DOUCE is produced entirely without dyes and perfume. The color naturally produced by oxidation of the perfume gives the soap a soft brown tone, which may vary from batch to batch.

Savon du Midi's shea soaps are made in Provence, France. Only certified organic vegetable oils are used in the saponification process to make the soap.
After saponification, organic shea butter and, depending on the variety, honey, perfume or essential oil are added during the final processing.

The soaps are made in small soap manufactories with the expertise passed down in the tradition of Provencal soap making. No animal fats are used in any of the soaps. The soaps with shea butter are available certified in the varieties Lemongrass, Lavender, Granium, Vanilla, Cinnamon Orange, Rose Douce Pine, Apricot Peach, Provence, Honey Epices, Vetyver and Garrigue.
