The Sandawha skin care line was founded in 2004 with the aim of helping people with skin problems. Sandawha means "little camellia" in Korean. The camellia (Camellia japonica) is at the centre of the vegan facial care line. A plant with strong protective functions for the skin, which has both anti-inflammatory and anti-irritant properties. Reliable products whose effectiveness has been scientifically tested are produced with the aid of the latest technologies. Sandawha products contain no alcohol. The products are:

Sandawha Skincare - Everything from one source
Cultivation, harvesting and processing of the camellias is done by Sandawha himself. Camellias of the Camellia japonica variety are grown on the fertile volcanic island of Jeju. The flowers and seeds are processed directly into ingredients of the highest quality in two production facilities.
Life Science Institute - Research and Development
In the in-house Life Science Institute on Jeju, research is being conducted into the effects of over 200 plant species. In addition, the high-quality formulations of Sandawha are developed. They are constantly working on new methods to achieve the best results for the skin. Sandawha has, among other things, developed a patented process in which the freshly harvested camellia flowers are treated with nitrogen. In this way the valuable active ingredients of the flowers are not lost during processing. The camellia extract of Sandawha contains a lot of antioxidants.
Sandawha Camellia seed oil - Nature & Environment
All Sandawha products have been developed free of animal testing and are vegan, so they contain no animal ingredients. KARA (Korea Animal Rights Advocates) has listed the parent company Skincure as free from animal testing. Sandawha products contain no microplastics. The packaging of the skincare line is mostly made of recyclable glass, the outer packaging is made of cardboard.
