1A-33 is the first reinterpretation and one of the most successful fragrances by J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin.
Back in the 1950s, this composition was a bestseller for the Berlin perfume brand for decades. Back then, the 1A-33 product line not only included perfumes, but also a wide range of soaps and powders. Even today, the extraordinary fragrance formula of this fine perfume still captivates with its lovely notes of lime blossom, magnolia and jasmine, complemented by a fresh top note of mandarin and spicy red pepper. The lime blossom extract gives the fragrance an allusion to the Berlin air of the famous boulevard Unter den Linden.
The name 1A-33 itself is a tribute to the German capital: "1A" stands for Berlin and "33" for the company's location in Moabit, based on the former Berlin license plate. With the revival of the brand in 2012, it was natural to reintroduce this bestseller. Today, the offices of J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin are once again located in Moabit. The tradition of J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin continues successfully with this fresh, floral fragrance in the range.
Schwarzlose Parfum is a traditional perfume brand from Berlin that can look back on a long and fascinating history and has now found its rightful place in Belladonna's perfume department. Founded in 1856 by Joachim Friedrich Schwarzlose, the company quickly developed into one of the most respected perfume houses in Germany.
