DADO SENS DERMACOSMETICS is a German dermacosmetics brand, founded in 1987 by pharmacist Michael Lindner. Today DADO SENS is a brand of Börlind GmbH in the Black Forest. The 8 care ranges are developed in collaboration with dermatologists and tested by independent institutes. Products are 100% vegetarian, largely vegan, free from mineral oils, silicones and paraffins, and PETA-certified since November 2024.
The Brand
Dermacosmetics on a natural basis
On 1 January 1987 pharmacist Michael Lindner founded DADO-cosmed GmbH. His work in the pharmaceutical industry had shown him the need for novel, dermatologically effective care on a natural basis. The guiding principle was clear: "Medical care. Natural effect." From the outset, DADO SENS developed its ranges in close collaboration with dermatologists and recognised skin clinics.
Today DADO SENS is a brand of Börlind GmbH, a family business in the Black Forest with over 280 employees. Börlind GmbH is also the parent company of ANNEMARIE BÖRLIND and manufactures all products in Germany. DADO SENS stands for dermatologically tested care for skin conditions that need special attention: from extreme dryness and rosacea to acne.

Quality Principles
What DADO SENS does not contain
DADO SENS follows the principle of deliberate omission. All products are formulated without ingredients that can put particular strain on sensitive skin. Efficacy and tolerability are scientifically verified and confirmed by independent dermatological institutes using volunteer test subjects.
Complete elimination of softening plastics. No microplastics in the product or wastewater.
No paraffin, no petroleum derivatives. Instead: plant oils and extracts, predominantly from organic cultivation.
No synthetic polymers. According to brand information, the skin's natural breathability is preserved.
Only naturally produced sugar-based glycols; no synthetic petroleum-based glycols.
All products are made with pure Black Forest deep spring water from the company's own well.
Officially part of PETA's "Beauty Without Bunnies" programme since November 2024. No animal testing since Börlind GmbH was founded in 1959.
