Hamam soap with travertine in the set is a small gesture for the beautiful moments in life.
The care and cleaning with olive oil soap is very common in the Mediterranean region and has a long tradition there. The olive soap is also called house type Aleppo according to your origin. Families made this soap for their own use, using mainly extra virgin olive oil. The production of this soap has been maintained for generations and is now known only to a few.
The soap is a descendant of the soap from Syria and was created before 1000 BC. Between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, Mesopotamia Mesopotamia in Aleppo, the city of soap, it has been produced in the traditional way since ancient times. Olive oil is poured into a large cauldron, mixed with spring water and thus transformed into soap. After the raw mass has cooled, the soap is cut into pieces by hand on the floor. The soap pieces are then placed one on top of the other to form towers and left to air dry for 6 months to reach their true maturity. This special soap is boiled only once a year, always after the olive harvest in October.
Special properties: The olive oil nourishes and soothes the skin, preventing it from drying out, the oil dilates the pores, allowing deep-acting cleansing, and has a disinfectant effect due to the laurel oil it contains (8%). It is environmentally friendly, biodegradable, contains no perfume, preservatives or animal fats. The soap has a very high yield, has hypoallergenic effect (important for neurodermatitis patients), especially suitable for very dry sensitive skin.
Other tips for use: helps with insect bites, suitable as a shampoo and shaving soap, as a face mask (let it soak in for 5 min, then rinse with clean water), for body care, skin care, scalp and hair. Recommended for neurodermatitis. But also for all other skin types the perfect care product.
