Cedrus deodora

Himalayan cedar essential oil is characterised by its uplifting and highly stabilising effect on the nerves. The balancing fragrance helps to reduce stress and at the same time promotes strength and self-confidence. When rubbed on the chest, the oil can provide relief from coughs and colds.

Due to its astringent and soothing properties, Himalayan cedar oil can also be used to treat flaky skin and oily hair. The oil is therefore ideal as an ingredient in soaps. It also promises relief from skin rashes, as it has a skin-regenerating, antiseptic and pain-relieving effect.

The calming yet refreshing fragrance profile is ideal for air purification and as a room freshener, as well as for repelling moths and insects. The fragrance is often favoured by men, which is why the oil is also ideal for use in shaving soaps.

Himalayan cedar is one of the few "real" cedars Very well tolerated by the skin Slightly sweeter and more intense fragrance than Atlas cedar.
