Helichrysum italicum

Immortelle, also known as Italian immortelle, is native to the entire Mediterranean region. The immortelle herb grows up to 60 cm high and has yellow flower heads. It thrives on the dry, stony soils of the Garrigue. In naturopathy, immortelle is used for skin problems, muscle aches and colds, and in perfumery it is used as a fixative.
