Ho leaves come from the camphor tree, chemotype Linalool, which is native to China. The camphor tree is an evergreen tree that can grow to a height of more than 30 metres and forms different chemotypes depending on its origin. The chemotype linalool - also known as Ho leaves - is used as a substitute for the wood oil of the rosewood tree (Aniba roseodora). In natural cosmetics, Ho leaves are used for body oils and baths as well as to improve the air in rooms.
