The organic flower soaps from Savon du Midi are made in Provence, France. Soap production from vegetable oils has a long tradition around the Mediterranean. Its main centres in the south of France are Marseille and Provence. Only vegetable oils from controlled organic cultivation (kbA) are used in the saponification process to produce the soap. After saponification, organic shea butter, fine flower parts and high-quality perfumes or essential oils are added during the final processing. Savon du Midi soaps are made using traditional expertise in the Provencal soap-making tradition. This predominantly artisanal production method is reflected in the quality of a mild and nourishing soap.
