The secret of our hair dyes lies in the combination of high color intensity and Ayurvedic care. According to Ayurvedic principles, we harvest the plants only once a year, exactly when the pigments have reached their highest potency. We only use the finest hand-picked plant parts without stems and stalks and grind them into an ultra-fine powder using an innovative process.
In contrast to synthetic hair dyes, where oxidizing agents cause the hair to swell in order to open the outer cuticle layer for the pigments, with khadi plant hair dyes the pigments wrap themselves around each individual hair like a protective sheath. Easy to use. Wonderful effect. khadi Mahogany is the ideal choice for all those who want to combine a permanent, intense color experience with natural care without harmful chemicals - and we will accompany you step by step:
Wash your hair thoroughly in advance with a nature-certified shampoo, preferably with khadi DeepCleanse Shampoo.
Mix the mahogany powder with 70-80 degrees warm water until it becomes creamy and all powder particles have completely dissolved. Apply the cream to your hair evenly, strand by strand, using a brush or your hands (please use the gloves provided and preferably upside down in the shower or over the bath). If you only want to dye your roots, leave out the lengths and ends.
Leave the color on for between 60 and 120 minutes. The longer it is left on, the darker the color result will be. If you have already dyed with this shade and just want to freshen up your color, leave the color in your hair for 15 to 30 minutes.
Rinse out the plant hair dye with clear water after the application time. Please refrain from using shampoo for 24 to 48 hours so that the full color depth of your shade can develop during this time.
Tip for post-treatment: Use the khadi ColorFinish Conditioner immediately after rinsing out your color with water to rinse out any remaining color particles and make it easier to comb. After the application time, rinse your hair thoroughly again with lukewarm water.
Tip for the perfect finish: Before your first hair wash after 24-48 hours, we recommend fixing the pigments of your hair color with khadi ColorCare hair oil. Your khadi shade will last much longer and the color depth will be intensified. To do this, distribute the oil evenly in your hair and leave it on for at least 20 minutes. Then wash it out with a natural, silicone-free shampoo, for example our khadi AMLA VOLUME.
