Rosemary is an evergreen shrub, an ancient medicinal and aromatic plant that is native to the Mediterranean region and favours calcareous, sunny locations. Rosemary produces different chemotypes depending on the location, such as R. CT Cineol or R. CT Verbenon. In ancient times, rosemary was dedicated to Aphrodite and symbolised fidelity. Rosemary was a component of the famous "Hungarian Water", one of the oldest perfumes. It is a component of the "Herbs of Provence" seasoning mix and an important raw material for perfumery, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.

Rosemary verbenone essential oil is activating and is used for external application in the liver and abdominal area for liniments and compresses. Its properties are ideal for supporting a spring cure and strengthening the overall constitution. Its fragrance has a revitalising and refreshing effect.
